obligatory update...
I haven't posted in a while, so I figured I should at least put something...

It's been a pretty quiet week since I last wrote in here. The weather has been very fall-time-ish and it's been making me feel all tired and like cozying up inside. I actually think chilling out at home is kind of nice when the weather turns and the nights get cooler. And it sure has been cooler. For September, it's been damned cold! With 7°C nights and all the Halloween crap in the stores it seems more like the 22nd of October to me.

I've been trying to be somewhat productive this week. I've finally starting working on a new website which I'm hoping will do well and be a new start for me, which would be great. I'm going to have to put that on hold for a couple of days though so that I can set up a simple website for that custy I sent that big shiny proposal to a couple of weeks ago. I'm going to make it really basic and generic so that I can use it as a template for future clients as well. That'll save a lot of time down the road. That guy is about the only person I've heard back from though, and I haven't gotten a penny out of him yet. So that kind of sucks. As for the rest, they can all go to hell.

Bah, there I go posting about work, which I really did not want to do. That's pretty much why I haven't done much updating in here lately, because it would probably have been about work and money and shit like that.

Kaleena's dad is visiting tomorrow afternoon. That should be fun, but I know Kali is dreading it.

The quote of the week (maybe even of the year) has to go to Hugo Chavez:

"...the devil came here yesterday, and it smells of sulfur still today..."

And from what I've heard about Dubya's ass gas problem, I'll bet it did still stink too!

Yeah, this has been a fascinating time in world events. It's such a privilege to be alive to witness the catastrophic incompetence of the worst president in US history.
